Here is a 1981 Williams SOLAR FIRE playfield upper/lower set.  This was a restoration that we did several years ago.   Lots of ball marks, lacquer yellowing in the white areas, missing paint, color fading, cracks in the original lacquer finish, aged woodgrain and insert damage.  The main (lower) playfield was in worst condition than the upper (smaller) playfield.  This was basically a complete repaint.  No stickers or overlays were used in this restoration, just a lot of airbrushing and painting.
